the homie Kareem Black, a very talented photographer out of NYC, has been in Haiti for a little over a week now. he is doin his part and helping out as much as he can. while out there, hes capturing what most of us are not able to see and feel. showing us how Haiti is coping with the traumatic events that took place in Port au Prince. its good to see that the locals are looking like they are still in good spirits. God bless them.

i hope my mom doesnt read my blog. cuz...thats def a blunt in my hand. hung out with legendary Beatjunkie DJ Babu recently. i guess when ur with him, you cant help but take a toke. and plus, he was a guest in NY. it wouldnt have been very polite if i didnt do as "romans" do. pick up his new cd "The Beat Tape Vol 2."

fashion week, groundhogs, cleavage, baseball; all signs that spring and summer are around the corner. what better way to enjoy the great weather than eating out. i am on a mission; and that is to try the top 20 street food vendors in NYC, according to NY Magazine. first up: The Arepa Lady on 78th and Roosevelt in Jackson Heights. for those that dont know, an arepa is a Columbian bread made of corn. it is either grilled, baked or fried into a shape of a pancake, similar to a tortilla. it is then stuffed with ingredients like meat, eggs, tomatoes, salad, cheese, shrimp, or fish.

one of last years freshmen has now become, i guess, a sophomore? the first single off B.O.B.'s first album is called Nothing On You. i like it. im a girl, why wouldnt i like a song talking about how im the number one chick. shrug. also, i like this Bruno Mars guy. i youtubed some of his stuff and hes got a nice set of pipes. heres some behind the scenes footage of the upcoming video.
